Case Study: Building Marketing Capacity for Climate Leaders in Asia

About the Project

A regional climate funder supporting a network of civil society organisations across Asia approached us with a challenge: How do we help our grantees communicate their impact more clearly—and grow their influence—without adding to their already full plates?

The goal was to design a practical, engaging webinar to help their grantees sharpen their communications, tell stronger stories, and connect with key audiences like funders, partners, and policymakers. And follow up with a series of 1-on-1 consults.

Our Process

We co-created a customised training session focused on “Driving Change with Comms Agencies”. The webinar was built around the real challenges climate-focused organisations face: limited capacity, evolving narratives, and a need to build trust quickly.

What we brought to the table:

  • Clear, relatable frameworks for messaging and campaign planning

  • Practical examples relevant to the region and the climate space

  • Interactive Q&A to address specific challenges

  • Follow-up resources and consults to support ongoing application

Deliverables

  • 1-hour live webinar tailored to the funder’s network

  • Slide deck + downloadable worksheets

  • Follow-up consults and resource pack

  • Post-event summary and insights report

Results

  • 70+ participants across the Asia region

  • Follow-up interest in deeper training and 1:1 support
