Case Study: Turning Creativity Into Career Skills - Building Career-Ready Youth at kita

The challenge

Kita needed a digital marketing curriculum that could meet under-resourced youth where they were—most with no prior experience in marketing—and bring them to a point where they could confidently present real campaign work to a live audience in nine weeks.

what we did

Together with the Kita team, designed and delivered a nine-week digital marketing course for learners aged 18–24, built around practical frameworks, real tools, and a live client brief. Every session was structured to build on the creativity participants already had—adding strategy, confidence, and craft on top of it.

THE WORK

  • Co-created training curriculum across social content, SEO/SEM, digital copywriting, and campaign planning

  • Session decks, worksheets, and reusable templates

  • Guided capstone projects for a real-world client brief (The Mind Cafe)

  • Final Demo Day presentations

WHAT CAME OF IT

14 learners completed the full programme and presented polished, work-ready campaign plans to a live audience, having started with no prior marketing experience. Beyond the deliverables, participants left with measurably stronger confidence, communication skills, and a clear sense of what a career in marketing could look like for them.

Following this programme, Priya has become a regular training partner with Kita, continuing to deliver digital marketing education across subsequent cohorts.

Priya brought an inspiring presence and a wealth of knowledge to the room. She met the youth where they were, while giving them real-world tools and frameworks that made them feel ready to take on the industry.
